How's it going, Reader?

It's been a thoughtful Thursday thus far. It's way more thoughtful than usual because I created a complete app called Mom Beach Life Skills Bucks that takes subscription payments AND a sales page yesterday in under 1.5 hours with AI tools. I have currently disabled new accounts so don't sign up.

You see, this very task was what I used to do for a living back when I worked at Verizon and American Airlines.

Creating apps would take our development team months and one took years.

The app was even functional but did need more UX (user experience) design help. It wasn't very mobile friendly for instance.

Luckily, the no code app called Loveable lets you do a code view so that you can input any code you'd like.

I also used one called Vibe Code, which is an app in the App store to create another app for cleaning and organization. It's only for your phone, however.

All these no code apps with AI really got me feeling grateful that I left app development and design behind to pursue digital products, content creation and coaching.

A friend at a tech company told me that 30% of the development team was laid off because the head honchos thought that AI could take over some of the workload.

However, this didn't pan out as they hoped.

The AI was creating mistakes like crazy in the code, so they had to hire back some of the developers. It does what's called "hallucinating" when creating any content.

I'm sure you have experienced this too if you work with any AI tools. It will even hallucinate copy such as in a sales listing that you didn't even mention when prompting.

AI is getting smarter every day!

Maybe one day it won't hallucinate any more and be as perfect as can be!
