If you tried Claude Design when it first came out a couple of months ago and walked away because it chewed through your usage in twenty minutes, I want you to give it another look, because the version Anthropic shipped on June 17 is a genuinely different tool, and it matters for the kind of business you are building.

Here is what actually changed and why it should be on your radar as someone selling digital products.

The first fix is the one that was quietly killing it for most of us.

Claude Design used to run on its own small, separate pool of usage, which is why a few rounds of edits could eat most of a weekly allowance before you had anything finished.

The new version shares your usage limits with regular chat and Cowork and does more with fewer tokens, so you can sit down and build a full lead magnet or a set of slides without watching the meter the entire time.

The second change is the one I think you will love. 💗

You can now bring your own brand into Claude Design, your colors, your fonts, your whole style, and it builds every design against that and corrects itself before you ever see the result.

That means the cover for your next printable, the mockup for your sales page, and your workshop slides all come out looking like they belong to the same business, instead of looking like someone who has never seen your brand made them.

The third one removes the part that used to make this kind of tool maddening. Instead of re-prompting for every tiny tweak, you can click an element and drag it, resize it, swap a font, or fix the spacing yourself, then ask Claude to carry that change across the whole design.

It feels far more like working with a designer who actually listens than gambling with a prompt and hoping.

And when you are finished, you can send your work straight to Canva, PowerPoint, or PDF, so it drops into the workflow you already use rather than trapping you inside one more tool.

A quick honest note so you are not caught off guard: this update is rolling out on the paid Claude plans, so you will want to be on Pro or higher to see it. If you are, it is worth opening up this week and testing on one real thing you have been putting off.
