How's it going, Reader?

I'm writing to you from Philadelphia this morning, where I'm getting ready for Celebration, the conference hosted by Polka Dot Powerhouse for women entrepreneurs.

There's something special about walking into a room full of women who are building something of their own, and I can't wait to soak it all in.

My stop in Nashville earlier this week is still on my mind, though. Walking through Dolly's museum and learning about all of her business ventures really made me think about what it means to leave something behind.

Dolly didn't just want to hand her family money when she passed. She built businesses for them to work in and grow, which means she left a legacy for generations of her family to come, and I find that so inspiring. 💕

I relate to Dolly in another way, too. I grew up very poor, in a home without electricity or running water, so when I hear her talk about where she came from, I recognize my own story in hers.

Those years taught me to be resourceful and to make something out of whatever I had, but my circumstances never defined me, and they don't have to define you either.

That's why I'm building legacy businesses of my own.

• ​Mom Beach is my blog and Shopify store for moms, along with the Mom Beach Club membership.
• ​PLR Beach is my commercial use template shop, filled with done-for-you printables and coloring packs you can resell to make money.
• ​Becky Beach Coaching is home to my coaching, courses, and the Business Beach Club membership for sellers.
• Becky Beach AI is my AI shop and the home of SAGE: The AI Executive Team, a one-time-pay membership with a vibrant support community.

On top of all that, I run an Etsy shop for moms and a Redbubble Christian sticker shop, and I've self-published more than 70 books on Amazon KDP.

When you diversify your income like this, you're not putting all your eggs in one basket.

If one stream slows down, the others keep flowing, and that kind of stability is what lets a business become something your family can build on long after you've handed it over.
