🤔 Generic AI answers are costing you more than you think

How's it going, Reader?

Think about the last time you asked AI for help with your business. You probably got an answer that sounded polished and confident.

Maybe you then spent the next hour rewriting it, second-guessing it, or asking the same question five different ways, trying to get something you could actually use.

That happens because the AI most people are using learned from the whole internet in huge data centers, so it answers the way the internet would, with a little bit of everything written for everyone.

It doesn’t know your offers, your customers, or what has already worked for you, so every answer comes back as generic advice you have to translate into your own business yourself.

That translation is where the real cost hides.

Every hour you spend sorting through generic AI answers is an hour you’re not selling, creating, or resting.

Also, every generic email, post, or offer idea you act on is a guess instead of a decision grounded in your own results.

Over weeks and months, that adds up to a lot of time spent spinning your wheels and a lot of money left on the table.

The answer is machine learning on your own business data, and I don’t say that lightly.

Before I ran my business full time six years ago, I worked on systems and machine learning at Verizon and American Airlines, where I watched AI trained on a company’s own data save millions of dollars and countless hours of work.

Later, when I earned my MIT certification in AI for Business Strategy, I focused on applying machine learning to a small business, and it became the subject of my final assignment.

For years, machine learning power belonged only to big companies with big budgets and teams of engineers, but now it doesn’t, thanks to my methods.

That’s exactly how I built SAGE’s Learning Loop, which uses machine learning on my business data and reports back every week on what’s working, what isn’t, and what to stop and continue.

Instead of generic ideas, I get clear steps I can act on, and my automations keep getting smarter because they’re learning from my business data instead of the internet.

Here’s what that has meant for my life:

I now work 12 to 15 hours a week on my business, so I get to spend much more time with my son Bryan.

Tomorrow I’m going with him on his field trip to Bass Hall in Fort Worth, and I won’t be sneaking glances at my laptop or worrying about what’s piling up while I’m gone.

Before I brought machine learning into my business to improve my automations, a day like that simply wasn’t possible.

So let me ask you something, and I’d love for you to really sit with it.

How many hours are you working on your business right now? And if AI took a real share of that work off your plate, what would you rather be doing instead?

Maybe it’s more time with someone you love, a trip you keep putting off, or just an afternoon that belongs to you again.

On Monday at 2 pm CST in my free live AI Second Brain Workshop, I’ll show you machine learning working inside my students' and my businesses, along with the time-saving and money-making automations I’m running with Claude and Muse, so you can see how it can work in your business too.

We get started at 2 pm Central | 3 pm Eastern | 1 pm Mountain | 12 pm Pacific | 8 pm London | 6 am Tuesday in Sydney

Everyone who joins live gets $300 in valuable courses and resources for their business, so please RSVP to let me know you’re coming and save your spot.

See you Monday,
Becky

P.S. If AI has felt like more work instead of less, it isn’t because you’re doing it wrong. You’ve been using AI that doesn’t know your business yet, and on Monday I’ll show you what changes when it does.

How's it going, Reader? I want to tell you about Kim because her story shows what’s possible for you over the next few months. Kim created a simple product, priced it at $7, and built a small funnel around it inside Business Beach Club. She has now earned over $500 in sales from that one $7 funnel. She didn’t stop at the $7 product either. She added an order bump and an upsell, so every buyer who says yes to her first offer has an easy way to say yes to more, and that’s where a small price...

How's it going, Reader? Yesterday, my Business Beach Club member, Kim, told me she earned $300 from the $7 Members-Only Sale running now. That nearly covers her entire yearly membership payment from only one day of sales, since it's $47 a month, or $470 for the year. Each quarter, the Business Beach Club membership runs our $7 Sale, and every product is $7 to get it in front of my audience so they can get sales. When you check out from purchasing a product in the $7 Sale, use coupon HOLIDAY7...

How's it going, Reader? Bryan turned 11 over the weekend, and between the cake and the birthday chaos, he keeps bringing up France. Next month our family is taking two full weeks off for a French river cruise, and it will be Bryan’s first time in France, so he’s counting down the days in a way only an 11-year-old can. I’m right there with him, although my excitement comes with a little confession: I’ve been studying French off and on for a while now, and I still can’t hold a real...
