How's it going, Reader? It's been a happy Fri-YaY so far, and I'm genuinely relieved to have a wide-open weekend with nothing on the calendar. After being "on" all week at the Creative Educator Conference, I really need some time to rest and recharge. Do you feel the same way after a big event, or are you the type who could go nonstop from one to the next? Hit reply and let me know. I received a super sweet note from someone who watched my inspirational (and funny) speech!π Also, I've been doing my usual post-event debrief in my head, which honestly never stays breezy for long. π² I always find myself going back over how I came across in social situations, sometimes to the point of obsessing over the details. Did I use good body language? Did I make eye contact the way I wanted to? Did I push myself to meet as many people as possible? π€ All of that mental replay adds up fast, and by the end of a big conference week, I'm just flat-out exhausted in a way that has nothing to do with being on my feet. On top of that, I've been carrying a little second-hand frustration over something that happened during one of the sessions. A speaker mentioned furries to get a cheap laugh, and it genuinely made me frown because that community actually means something to me. βΉοΈ Years ago, I was a well-known human-to-animal transformation artist under the pseudonym Sirenz, which helped me pay my way through college. While I was never a furry myself, I attended furry events, had an artist table, and took on countless commissions. As a poor college student, I never had the money to invest in a "fur-suit" so that's mostly the reason. However, I got to know a lot of people in that fandom personally. They are genuinely kind, creative, and whip-smart people, many of them working in IT and technology, and they didn't deserve to be reduced to a punchline. As an empath, I really hope no one in that audience was part of the furry community, because that kind of moment can quietly ruin an otherwise great experience for someone.π§ What do you think about all this? Hit reply and let me know. Make sure to RSVP for my upcoming encore workshop where I'll be showing you all about the Claude features and how to migrate over from ChatGPT.π€ It's happening Thursday, April 16th, at 3 pm CST/4 pm EST. It will be recorded but if you show up live, you get a free Claude Artifact that will supercharge your business. Again, RSVP here to let me know you'll be there!π π If you need personalized guidance to scale your business, hit reply and we will see if you qualify. How's it going, Reader? It's been a super Saturday thus far. Today I wanted to talk about finding events and pocasts to speak at with Claude Cowork. There was a speaking opportunity sitting in my inbox and I almost never found it. Laylee Amadi hosts the Creative Educator Conference every year, and because I subscribed to her list, the invite landed in my Gmail like any other email. Easy to miss and easy to skim past. But I had already connected my Gmail to Claude Cowork, so I typed one simple...

How's it going, Reader? Wednesday in Frisco, Texas has been a good one. I'm here for the Creative Educator Conference, where I had the honor of speaking yesterday in front of over 100 people, more than I've ever addressed from a stage before. I'll be honest, I was a little nervous going in. I've sung in front of crowds of 500 or more, but singing has always felt more natural to me than speaking. In my 20s I made extra money by singing soprano at weddings and events. Standing at a podium with...
